It is common and even accepted for men to be bald. Although it is accepted it does not stop some men feeling embarrassed about their baldness and start looking for a way how to prevent hair loss. When the menopause starts, the production of estrogen diminishes and this can allow testosterone to have a bit more of a free reign. This in turn can turn into DHT which is a high amount of testosterone and if there are areas of the scalp sensitive to this then this can lead to hair loss.

If a woman is unfortunate enough to have to undergo a hysterectomy, then this too can be a bit like going through the menopause as again there is really little or no estrogen being produced, and this too is going to lead to a higher probability of hair loss.

The final big upheaval in a woman which causes massive hormonal change is pregnancy, and this can really play tricks with the hair. When a woman becomes pregnant there are huge amounts of changes that start to occur within the body as you can probably well imagine. It is extremely common during pregnancy for hair to just seemingly take on a life of its own. It can go thinner and fall out, it can become thicker, curly hair can straighten and straight hair can go curly. This is down to the massive hormone changes which take place within a woman when they are pregnant, and for some women after having a child, their hair is never the same again.

How many of us can look back and think that we may not have reached our full potential in life? What if we had done better in school? What if we had gone to a better college?

The predominant attitude in today’s public schools has created a culture in which 16-year-olds are deciding they aren’t going to go to college. They think the material will be too difficult. They think they don’t have the necessary skills. They lack confidence in their own ability to learn and grow in an academic environment. They aren’t qualified to make the right decisions!

A lot has been said about the importance of small class size and individual attention in our schools. But small class size is only the beginning. The best high schools have not only smaller classes, which allow for more individual attention-they have highly qualified teachers who teach more challenging material.

AP courses, created by the College Board, have been around for fifty years. These are certified college-level courses that are taught in high schools. Their popularity has grown over the years, and they have become an essential part of the high school portfolio for anyone wishing to apply to a four year college or university. Many parents feel that these classes and their high expectations put too much pressure on young children, still in high school. But that isn’t how it was meant to be.

When approached the right way, these courses may in fact be a very good opportunity. The downside is that most high schools that offer these courses still pack 20 to 30 students into the class. So instead of being a positive opportunity, many students simply struggle with the work. Have you ever thought about studying a language?  I know i have on some occasions.  Lately I was starting to plot a trip to China and I carefully considered learning the Chinese language.  The same occurred 1 or 2 years back when I was brooding about going to France for half a year.  that trip dropped thru and I stayed home instead. 
 
Research is becoming so far easier these days thanks to the web.  I just type into Google what I want and back come the answers.  The other day I started looking out for a good learn a language course so I could begin to learn Chinese.  After reading various reviews and feedback from other scholars, I am seriously considering the Rocket Chinese course. 
 
Rocket have many language courses and they all seem to be highly regarded.  I liked the Rocket Chinese review and also the Rocket German review.  I’ve got a secret wish to visit Germany one day also.  It might be great to be ready to get around like a local speaking and understanding the language. 
 
Being a shy sort of person, I like to learn at my private pace from home.  These courses are superb for that purpose.  Also, they teach me the conversational abilities of the language which I know will give me more confidence when I visit the country.  I also try to watch films in the language I am learning to help reinforce what the lessons have taught me. 
 
I plan to buy Rocket Chinese tomorrow as i want to visit China in six months time.  After I have realized that, I will most probably learn German next.  I can’t wait to learn a new language and then put it into practice with the neighbors.
